Shelf Pleasure Book Club – Week of May 8th
Hi Fellow Readers!
Come on, admit it, every now and again it’s fun to get lost in a good young adult novel. Whether it’s Twilight or The Hunger Games, there’s a good chance you have delved into the YA world at some point. And now it’s time to check out the “New Adult” books that are all over the shelves. If you aren’t familiar with the New Adult genre—or even if you are—we have all you need to know.
We’re big fans of author Beth Kendrick’s witty and warm novels, and are excited that the author herself visited Shelf Pleasure this week to share a few surprising tidbits about her life. Also visiting Shelf Pleasure is author and actress Kathryn Leigh Scott (Dark Shadows) who talks about the positives of typecasting.
Here are this week’s must-reads.
