Tailgating parties are a big deal. Even if you don’t like the sport, the party will get you into the mood! You can find folks tailgating at football games, NASCAR races and Polo Games where they’ll serve anything from a good old barbecue to a catered white tablecloth and china event. We are is the middle of the tailgating season now but we also want to remind you that the holidays are right around the corner.
(Hint – hint: You might want to take a look at the online resources listed below for gifts for the tailgating fanatic in your family!)
Rules for Fall Tailgating
Check the rules where you’ll be setting up. Some stadiums have initiated rules and regulations : no tents, no kegs, generators, or no grills, flags, and the earliest time to set-up. It is a must to check with each venue.
Pick up your garbage and recycle. At public venues, they usually have a bin for cans. Some stadiums charge for tailgating privileges. Now you know why.
Don’t forget – eat, drink and be merry! Then go root for your team! Sis Boom Bah!
Don’t get sloshed:
That could be easy to do when you are downing those drinking to get ready to go into the stadium and then drinking those beers throughout the course of the game. There is nothing worse than a tailgating drunk. Have a good time, but just ration out the drinks.
