This might not be a brand new blogger-shout out to you, or maybe it is. Whether you’ve been there a while ago, a few months ago or never, this is one website you should explore. Since the site launched in 2008, it has only grown, matured and blossomed, as does any work of art.
The Selby is the brainchild of Todd Selby. His bio says that he is a photographer, director, author and illustrator. Actually, he does more than that. He reads people. He photographs how the live, act, think while showing their personalities.
Artists are fascinating creatures, actually, that is a requirement in order to be one. Here is a bit of history on Todd and you will have to agree, he’s an interesting guy that has what it takes to be a great creator.
“Before working on this project full time Todd worked as a translator and Tijuana tour guide to the International Brotherhood of Machinists, a researcher into the California strawberry industry, a Costa Rican cartographer, a consultant on political corruption to a Mexican Senator, an art director at a venture capital firm, an exotic flower wholesaler, a Japanese clothing designer, and a vermicomposting entrepreneur. Todd currently lives in New York City. His pastimes include going to the airport, eating four square meals a day, breaking his computers, and working on his tan.”
The Selby is great because, because…. well take a look for yourself.
