Shelf Pleasure Book Club – September 22

LOGOS21

Hi Fellow Readers!

If you’re a fan of mysteries, old Hollywood and the Jazz Age, don’t miss our interview this week with Mary Miley, author of the Roaring Twenties mystery series. Miley talks about her award-winning career, the inspiration behind the series, and the latest installment, Silent Murders (we can’t wait to read it!). And if you’re fans of Neil Patrick Harris (and really, who doesn’t love NPH?) you must see our trailer of the week featuring his new memoir, Choose Your Own Autobiography, cleverly framed as one the classic “Choose Your Own Adventure” books.

We hope you’ll be joining us for our fall book club! If you missed our big announcement last week, our latest pick is Susan Jane Gilman’s fiction debut The Ice Cream Queen of Orchard Street. Susan herself will join us for a Google Plus hangout on Monday October 27th at 8pm EST. In the meantime, pick up a copy and start reading along with us! We can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the novel.
