Reading Roundup: The Book Most People Have Lied About Reading
A fascinating interview with Stephen King, an adorable literary gift idea, and the book most people have lied about reading (probably not what you’d expect) make up the best book news of the week.
We are completely hooked on Orphan X by Gregg Hurwitz. This thriller is the first in a new series featuring Evan Smoak, the “Nowhere Man” who can only be reached by the truly desperate – and will do anything to save them. It finally looks like Evan has met his match, a team of killers who won’t stop until he’s dead. We’re a little less interested in the potential romance he has with his DA neighbor…too long of a pause for us in what is otherwise an increasingly furious cat and mouse game.
