Curtis Sittnefled - Eligible

This week we’re reading

Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld. We never get tired of a Pride & Prejudice retelling. In this modern day rendition, the five Bennett sisters of Cincinnati are all still unmarried, despite the best efforts of their meddling mother. Will Chip, former contestant of the dating show Eligible, finally be the one for Jane? And what will her sister Liz do with his infuriating friend Fitzwilliam Darcy?… It’s humorous and charming and Sittenfeld is the perfect author to take on Jane Austen.

Until next week, happy reading!
