…Hallmark Movie and Mystery channel’s productions of the Aurora Teagarden mystery series by Charlaine Harris starring Candace Cameron Burre. Usually we read books before their movie counterparts, but we just never had a chance to check out this series. This weekend we rectified that with the first book, Real Murders. It was actually a lot of fun to read the book with the pictures of the characters from the movie already in our head. Plus, there are very interesting differences between them. For example, the book Aurora has a super fun dark streak that we’ve never seen from Candace Cameron Bure on screen. We are tearing through this first book and are so glad there are so many more to read…perfect company until the next movie hits the screen!

Until next week, happy reading!
