Kansas City Symphony Designers’ Show House (all-day)
An all-volunteer organization, Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts (PSHA) is a non-profit California Corporation whose members donate their time and talents to produce the annual Pasadena Showcase House of Design. Founded in 1948, and formerly known as The Pasadena Junior Philharmonic Committee, they adopted the Pasadena Showcase House of Design as their annual benefit in 1965. It is one of the oldest, largest and most successful house and garden tours in the nation.
A 1902 Classical Revival home with a double curved grand staircase will be the site of this year’s Decorator Showcase, to benefit the San Francisco University High School scholarship program. Tickets are $30. Information: (415) 447-5830 or decoratorshowcase.org.

Sixty designers will participate in a show house at Glynallyn Castle, to benefit the Inpatient Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Morristown Medical Center. The 40-room Tudor-style house, built in 1917, has 16 chimneys, a dungeon and originally had a moat. Tickets are $30, or $25 in advance (or for those 62 and older); no children under 12. The Women’s Association of Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC) is pleased to announce its 16th Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens at Glynallyn Castle in Morristown, New Jersey. From May 1st through May 31, guests are invited to tour this historic mansion featuring design inspirations from 60 of the area’s top interior and landscape designers who have donated their work in support of our cause: a new Inpatient Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Morristown Medical Center. After touring the Mansion and strolling through the gardens, guests can make the most of their spring day in the country by dining at the Castle Cafe and shopping at the Crown Boutiques, all conveniently located on the estate.
