Grandma’s Grain Storage
ELLA’S KITCHEN COMPANY
Once upon a time in the countryside of Norway, little Katherina Sanders would help her grandmother carefully measure out the ingredients for baking from the spice and grain cabinet. Years later she inherited the cabinet and would always be asked by visitors where could they buy one. Hence, Katherina granted them their wish and gave birth to Ella’s Kitchen Company, named in honor of her grandmother, Ella, and her daughter, Ella.
The space saving cabinet is a faithful rendition of the original and is made by local craftsman in Shropshire, England. Katherina only uses responsibly sourced European wood and each piece is hand painted with low FOC paints. The scoops and bottles are created in an artisan method using recycled materials. Katherina wanted to make sure her cabinets were made to last yet made with a conscious regard for the environment.
The scoops take the equivalent of a 2 pound bag (9 cups) of flour, 10 cups of rice or 5 cups of pasta.
Built using responsibly-sourced, European wood, the cabinet is made and hand-painted by Steven, a local Shropshire craftsman with low VOC, Little Greene Paints.
And yes, they are shipped anywhere in the world.
